With the discovery of joined-evolution came the discovery of the Helmet Pokémon Helnight. Hibernance is the evolution of the two already related bug-types Karrablast and Shelmet. Instead of giving each other strength during a trade, Shelmet and Karrablast now strengthen each other in the form of one Pokémon. Because of the competition with the other evolutions it started to fight dirty and uses mostly nasty tricks.

When both Karrablast and Shelmet are in your party and reach level 30, they evolve into Helnight.

When a trainer breeds with a female Helnight, there is a 50% chance a Karrablast hatches from the egg and a 50% chance that a Shelmet hatches.
